Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Abel Amare ("Drobe", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when you use the Drobe mobile application and related services.

Drobe is an iOS wardrobe and outfit application. It lets you catalog your clothing, get outfit suggestions, plan what to wear, ask an AI assistant about your wardrobe, use AI Try On, and search for products from other retailers.

1. Scope

This policy applies to information processed through Drobe, including when you create an account, use guest mode, upload wardrobe photos, chat with the AI assistant, use AI Try On, plan outfits, search products, receive notifications, use Drobe Pro, manage sessions, or contact support.

Other websites, retailers, and services you reach through Drobe have their own privacy practices.

2. Account information

Depending on how you authenticate, Drobe may collect your name, email address, password, account identifier, and authentication provider information.

If you choose Apple Sign In or Google Sign In, that provider handles authentication and gives us the information needed to maintain your Drobe account.

3. Profile information

You may provide gender, age, body type, height and other body measurements, style preferences, fit preference, outfit goals, fashion confidence level, favorite colors, and an optional profile photo.

This information is used for personalization and outfit recommendations. Optional information can be left out, though some features may become less personalized.

4. Wardrobe information

You may upload clothing photographs and details such as category, color, brand, material, and style. You may also record when you wear something and plan outfits for future dates.

This information is used to maintain your digital wardrobe, generate outfit suggestions, and provide related features.

When you add an item by photo, the photograph is sent to an AI provider to identify what the garment is and to separate it from its background.

5. AI Try On

AI Try On requires a photograph of yourself. You choose it once and Drobe saves it to your account as your registered photo so you do not have to provide it again. You can replace it at any time.

That photograph and the clothing you select are sent to our image generation provider to produce a visualization.

Every AI Try On result is saved to your account so you can find it again on the home screen and in your generated looks. You can delete individual results.

AI Try On is generative. It produces a new image rather than editing a photograph of the real garment, so it does not guarantee accurate body proportions, fit, sizing, color, fabric appearance, or real world results.

Only upload photographs of yourself, or photographs you have permission to use.

6. AI chat and style advice

Drobe includes an AI assistant you can ask about your wardrobe, outfits, and style.

To answer, Drobe sends the assistant your message, relevant information about the clothing you own, and relevant profile preferences. If you attach a photograph to a message, or use style match to find pieces resembling a look, that photograph is sent too.

Your conversations are saved to your account so you can return to them and search them. You can delete a conversation, which removes it from our servers.

Answers from an AI assistant can be wrong. Nothing it says is professional advice.

7. Location

With your permission, Drobe may access your approximate device location to suggest weather appropriate outfits.

Drobe does not require continuous background location access for this. You can deny or revoke the permission at any time in your device settings.

8. Notifications and device tokens

If you allow notifications, your device gives Drobe a push token, which we store against your account so we can deliver notifications to that device. A push token identifies a device installation, not a person, and it changes when you reinstall the app.

Drobe may send account, feature, subscription, and service notifications, including a daily reminder that your outfits for the day are ready.

You can turn notification types off in the app, and turn notifications off entirely in your device settings. Turning them off in your device settings stops delivery even if the app still holds a token.

9. Device and session information

For account security, Drobe may keep a record of active sessions and devices, including timestamps, device and browser information, approximate IP information, and security identifiers.

This supports session management, detecting suspicious activity, and account security.

You can view your active sessions and sign individual ones out from Settings.

10. Usage records

Drobe keeps a record of AI actions taken on your account, such as an outfit generation, a chat message, or a product search, with the time each happened.

This exists to enforce the limits that come with a free account, to apply the allowances that come with Drobe Pro, and to detect automated abuse of features that cost real money to run. It is not used to build a profile of you or shared for advertising.

11. Local cache

Drobe may store a copy of your wardrobe, outfits, and other account information in a local cache on your device, for offline access and better performance.

You can clear locally cached app data from Settings. Clearing it does not delete the corresponding information stored on our servers.

12. Guest mode

Drobe allows limited browsing without an account. Guest activity is not intended to be stored on our servers or tied to an identity, though limited technical processing may still occur to operate or secure the app.

13. Subscriptions and payments

Drobe Pro subscriptions and AI Try On credit packs are purchased through the App Store. Apple processes the payment. RevenueCat manages subscription entitlements, credit pack purchases, and related subscription information.

A purchase is tied to the Apple ID that made it. Drobe does not directly collect or store your full payment card number.

14. Analytics

Drobe does not currently collect analytics data or send it to any analytics provider.

The app includes an analytics preference toggle in Settings for when that changes. This policy will be updated if it does.

15. How we use information

16. Companies we work with

Drobe uses a small number of outside companies to run the app. What each one receives is listed so you can see where your information actually goes:

17. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with the service providers above so they can do their job for us. We may also disclose information when required by law or valid legal process, during security investigations, to prevent fraud, to protect rights, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets.

18. Retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active, or for as long as needed to provide the app, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Usage records are kept only as long as they are useful for the limits and abuse prevention they exist for.

19. Account deletion

You can delete your account from Settings, under Privacy & Security. You will be asked to confirm it is really you first.

Deleting your account removes your account information, profile, wardrobe, outfits, conversations, and generated images from our systems, subject to any legal retention requirements and to routine backup cycles.

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel that in your Apple account subscription settings.

20. Your controls

21. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including authenticated access, access rules on our database, and transport encryption.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

22. GDPR and EEA rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, and object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability.

Our legal bases are performance of a contract to provide the app, your consent for optional features such as location and notifications, and our legitimate interests in securing the app and preventing abuse.

To exercise a right, contact support@drobefashion.com. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

23. UK rights

If you are in the United Kingdom, you have equivalent rights under UK data protection law, and may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

24. California rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising.

25. Children's privacy

Drobe is intended for users aged 13 or older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

26. Where information is processed

Drobe and the companies we work with may process information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

27. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date below and give additional notice for changes that matter, where required.

In particular, if the companies listed above change, this policy is updated before the change reaches you.
